I ask GPT about many things like this. Actually, just the other day I got a message saying they really loved my profile picture on the app and wanted to use it for an art model... I was very flattered, however, my photo on that app is the default graphic so something was a little sus πŸ˜‚

I threw it into Chat GPT and, yep, it was a scam to get you to click on their malware link.

They are really creative. Some of the scams I don’t actually understand how they can possibly turn it into getting money from you πŸ˜‚

From extended warranties to single hot babes in your area, nothing is safe. I don't get it either. Like, if you're smart enough to understand and use malware, can't you find an honest way to get money? Ffs 🀦

Wait….I haven’t moved to another city just because of all the single ladies in my area. Are you telling me it isn’t real?! 😭

In all seriousness for them is a numbers game. Rather than trying to get more efficient they mass send these scams. If they have a 1% β€œconversion” rate and send thousands of scams per day (which is not hard if you automate it). You suddenly have hundreds of people falling for it

Oh no, the ones in your area are definitely real!

Yeah, and their number game is annoying as shit! I have never wanted to punch people in the face more than them.

That’s right. Take a deep breath and don’t panic 😊

There are many ways we can protect our selves. Even talking with someone about it can make a huge difference
